IT IS THE VISION OF CRIME STOPPERS OF TAMPA BAY TO EMPOWER THE COMMUNITY TO HAVE SAFER NEIGHBORHOODS, SCHOOLS, AND WORK ENVIRONMENTS BY PROVIDING A VOICE THAT CITIZENS CAN USE TO STAND AGAINST CRIMINALS WITHOUT FEAR.
Program accomplishments
- REWARD PROGRAM - REDUCES CRIME AND IMPROVES PUBLIC SAFETY BY PROVIDING REWARDS FOR CRIME TIPS. THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOLS TO REWARD STUDENTS THAT REPORT CRIMINAL INFORMATION. THE PROGRAM HAS TAKEN WEAPONS OUT OF SCHOOLS, MAKING THE ENVIRONMENT SAFER. SINCE INCEPTION, 1,686,250 HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR TIPS, AND 402,255 HAS BEEN PAID.Expenses $137,837 · revenue $23,877
