UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONTRACTORS OF FLORIDA IS A STATE ASSOCIATION FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING & ADVOCATING FOR THE TRADE OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONTRACTORS WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION & EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO IT'S MEMBERS & THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT ISSUES CONCERNING THIS INDUSTRY.
Program accomplishments
- THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION TO GATHER & EXCHANGE NEW INFORMATION & TO HEAR SPEAKERS ON INDUSTRY-RELATED TOPICS. THE CONVENTION PROVIDES ALL MEMBERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THEIR INDUSTRY & PROMOTE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.
- THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES MEETINGS TO EDUCATE MEMBERS & THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO PROMOTE ADVANCEMENTS IN THE INDUSTRY INVOLVING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES CONTRACTORS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO NETWORK WITHIN THEIR INDUSTRY TO SHARE & PROMOTE COMMON IDEAS THAT ARE PERTINENT TO THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONTRACTOR'S INDUSTRY.
- THE ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES AN ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT THAT RAISES FUNDS TO FURTHER THE ASSOCIATION'S EFFORTS TO PROMOTE THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONTRACTOR'S INDUSTRY WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. THE ASSOCIATION USES THIS EVENT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO FURTHER COMMUNICATION AMONG ITS MEMBERSHIP BASE & A FORUM FOR MEMBERS TO EXCHANGE IDEAS & CONCERNS WITH EACH OTHER THAT AFFECT THEIR INDUSTRY.
