Mission
The Purpose of the Organization is to provide support and assistance to the West Palm Beach Police force through special programs, award recognition, and capital for special purchases for which the city or grant money is unavailable.
Program accomplishments
- This scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible students pursuing posthigh school education at accredited colleges, universities, or technical schools. Currently, eligibility is limited to children of sworn officers. Scholarship awards are capped at $4,000 per student per academic year and are based on the recipient's actual tuition costs.grants $214,000
- This event is produced by THE FUND in cooperation with the Police Department's Honors Board. It celebrates excellence in law enforcement and public safety by honoring the bravery, dedication, and professionalism of the entire agency. Officers and professional staff members are recognized for distinguished service, and community service is acknowledged through special awards presented to officers nominated by citizens.Expenses $102,295
- All members of the Police Department receive a $200 Visa gift card during the holiday season, which may be used at the recipient's discretion.
