The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) is a nonprofit organization on a mission: to provide world-class continuing professional development for the global veterinary healthcare community.
Program accomplishments
- NAVC's primary program activities focus on delivering high quality education and professional development to the veterinary healthcare community. Through conferences and digital learning platforms, the Organization provides practical, up to date training that helps veterinary professionals strengthen their skills, meet continuing education requirements, and ultimately improve the care they provide to animals. These efforts directly support NAVC's mission to foster lifelong learning, encourage professional growth, and promote well being across the veterinary profession. The Organization's flagship program is the annual Veterinary Meeting and Expo, VMX. The conference featured interactive symposia, hands on laboratories, lectures, and a large exhibit hall that connects attendees with the latest products and services supporting animal health.VMX provides accredited continuing education credits that are required for state licensure, helping professionals maintain compliance while expanding their clinical knowledge. Just as important, the conference creates space for meaningful connection and peer learning within the veterinary healthcare team.Consistent with its nonprofit purpose, NAVC provides discounted or complimentary registration to students and individuals with financial need to ensure broader access to educational opportunities.
