Mission
THE MISSION OF THE TALLAHASSEE SYMPHONY IS TO ENGAGE, ENRICH, AND INSPIRE PEOPLE AT ALL STAGES OF LIFE THROUGH GREAT MUSIC.
Program accomplishments
- THE ORCHESTRA IS A PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PRODUCE CONCERTS OF SYMPHONIC REPERTOIRE AND VARIOUS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT/EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. DURING THE SEASON THEY PRESENT 6 MASTERWORKS CONCERTS, TWO HOLIDAY POPS SHOWS, OTHER SPECIALTY CONCERTS, AND SPECIAL CHILDREN'S PERFORMANCES. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORCHESTRA PROVIDES A FREE STRINGS PROGRAM IN FOUR TITLE I SCHOOLS IN LEON COUNTY.Expenses $1,350,992 · revenue $600,252
