Mission
Urban League of Palm Beach County is creating pathways for our communities to access economic, social, and civic opportunities through education, advocacy, and training.
Program accomplishments
- The Organization creates pathways for individuals and families to achieve economic, educational, and social success through its Youth & Education, Housing and Economic Development, and Workforce Development initiatives. The Youth & Education Pathway empowers young people to achieve academic success, develop leadership skills, and make positive life choices through programs such as NULITES, National Achievers Society, Children and Families In Need of Services, Teen Outreach Program, STEAM Team, and Youth Crime Prevention and Intervention. The Housing and Economic Development Pathway homeownership through Foreclosure Mitigation, Homebuyer Education, Assistance, Pre- and Post- Purchase Counseling, and Financial Literacy Workshops. The Workforce Development Mortgage Application Pathway enhances employment opportunities by providing job training, digital skills education, and career readiness support.Collectively, these initiatives expand access to opportunity, promote self-sufficiency, and strengthen communities through education, advocacy, and empowerment.Expenses $3,853,437 · grants $90,954 · revenue $4,861,686
