THE MISSION OF THE GEORGIA COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS IS TO PROMOTEA HIGH QUALITY MATHEMATICS EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS, ENCOURAGE AN ACTIVEINTEREST IN MATHEMATICS AND IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION, PROMOTE ONGOINGPROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR MATHEMATICS EDUCATION, AND PROMOTE AND REWARDEXCELLENCE IN THE TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA.
