Mission

VOX ATL prepares teens for life, career, and community by harnessing the power of youth voice and uncensored self-expression.

Program accomplishments

  • The Teen Programs offer communication, technology, and leadership training, as well as afterschool and summer education opportunities for teens in the Atlanta area.In addition, the programs support publishing and community outreach through regular digital content on VOXATL.org, distribution of print editions, self-expression workshops for schools and youth-serving organizations, and community dialogues and events. The Teen Programs also include Atlanta Word Works, which provides poetry, spoken word, and performance workshops designed to help young people develop their creative voices.
