Mission
THE NEW ORLEANS BIG GAME FISHING CLUB IS A PRIVATE CLUB WHOSE MEMBERS SHARE A PASSION FOR FISHING THE WATERS IN THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO IN SEARCH OF THE MANY SPECIES OF BILLFISH, TUNA, WAHOO, AND DOLPHIN.
Program accomplishments
- BANQUETS WERE HELD BY THE CLUB FOR ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CREATING A SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT TO CELEBRATE THE BEGINNING AND ENDING OF THE FISHING SEASON AS WELL AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONAL CONTACT.
- FOOD AND LODGING ARE OFFERED BY THE CLUB TO ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CREATING A CENTRAL IDENTIFIABLE MEETING PLACE AS A FOCAL POINT FOR ITS MEMBERS TO GATHER, COMMINGLE, AND SOCIALIZE.
- FISHING TOURNAMENTS ARE STAGED BY THE CLUB FOR ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS WITH THE OBJECTIVE TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE AMATEUR SPORTFISHING IN LOUISIANA AND THE FELLOWSHIP AND COMMINGLING THIS ACTIVITY ENCOURAGES.
