TO PROVIDE NEUROIMAGING AND INFORMATICS EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, SUPPORT, AND GUIDANCE TO NEUROLOGISTS AND OTHER NEUROSCIENCE CLINICIANS, TECHNOLOGISTS, SONOGRAPHERS, AND RESEARCHERS.
Program accomplishments
- THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF NEUROIMAGING IN PATIENTS WITH DISEASES OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM. THIS GOAL IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PRESENTING SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONALS PROGRAMS AT AN ANNUAL MEETING. ASN PUBLISHES A QUARTERLY SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL OF ALL THE RELEVANT CLINICAL NEUROLOGICAL ASPECTS OF MRI, SPECT, NEUROSONOLOGY, CT , PET, TRANSCRANIAL DOPPLER, CAROTID ULTRASOUND, AND OTHER NEUROIMAGING MODALITIES AND AN ANNUAL OPEN ACCESS PUBLICATION FEATURING PRACTICE FOCUSED ARTICLES COVERING VARIOUS SUBSPECIALITIES AND IMAGING MODALITIES. ASN EVALUATES PHYSICIAN COMPETENCY THROUGH CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS AND EXAMINATIONS.
