Mission
PROVIDES FOR THE NEEDS OF PHYSICIANS AND OTHER MEDICAL PERSONNEL INVOLVED IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. SERVES AS AN EDUCATIONAL PROVIDER FOR THIS INDUSTRY AND PROVIDES LEADERSHIP AND FOSTERS EXCELLENCE IN EMS MEDICINE.

- CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE THAT PROMOTES EMS CONTINUING EDUCATION THROUGH EXHIBITORS, SPEAKERS, AND WORKSHOPS.
- PRINTING AND PUBLICATIONS -- PUBLICATION OF THE EMS NEWSLETTER AND THE PREHOSPITAL EMERGENCY CARE JOURNAL PROVIDED TO THE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION
- LEGAL AND ADVOCACY SERVICES THAT CENTER AROUND ADVOCACY, MONITORING/PRESENCE, STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNAL GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
- GRANTS FROM FEDERAL AGENCIES, SPECIFICALLY THE CDC (CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION), IN COOPERATION WITH THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS (ACEP) AND A CORPORATE SERVICES AGREEMENT.
