TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY FOR HOME CARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDERS IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
Program accomplishments
- EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOCUS ON ISSUES CURRENTLY FACED BY HOME CARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDERS IN SOUTH CAROLINA. THE ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES SEVERAL ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS THAT FOCUS ON CLINICAL AND REGULATORY ISSUES, A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER FOR IN-HOME AIDES, AND A WEEKLY ADVOCACY NEWSLETTER WHEN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IS IN SESSION (JANUARY - JUNE). THE ASSOCIATION IS AN ADVOCATE FOR HOME CARE AND HOSPICE ISSUES. DURING FY 2025, THE ASSOCIATION HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE AS A TWO-DAY EVENT IN NOVEMBER IN MYRTLE BEACH, AND A ONE-DAY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN COLUMBIA IN JUNE. THE ASSOCIATION CONTINUED TO OFFER A VARIETY OF VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS AND WEBINARS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
