Mission
THE GUILFORD MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION IS A BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING MEMBER COMPANIES WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, LEAD GENERATION ACTIVITIES, MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES, AND ENRICHMENT WHILE SERVING AS A CATALYST FOR COMMUNITY GROWTH.
Program accomplishments
- MEMBERSHIP - RECRUITING NEW GMA MEMBERS AND ASSIST WITH SUPPORTING AND DIRECTING THEIR DEVELOPMENT. MEMBERSHIP ALSO ASSISTS IN EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ON THE BENEFITS OF GMA MEMBERSHIP AND IDENTIFYING WAYS TO GROW MEMBERSHIP AND SERVICES.
- NETWORKING - PROVIDES FOR EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BRING MEMBERS TOGETHER TO INCREASE VISIBILITY/LEAD GENERATION, SHARED LEARNING, AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS.
- PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO BRING RESOURCES AND EXPERT SPEAKERS FOR IN PERSON SEMINARS TO ADDRESS TOPICS OF INTEREST TO SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESSES SUCH AS CUSTOMER SERVICE, SALES SKILLS, ACCOUNTING, CASH FLOW, SOCIAL MEDIA, DIGITAL MARKETING, AND HUMAN RESOURCES.
