    Expenses $57,000 · grants $57,000
  • One of the Foundation's biggest and most regular activities is to organize and host Summits focused on access to care, workforce issues, and awareness of behavioral health in Maine. These Summits bring together members of the public across provider, consumer, lived experience, higher education, policymaker, and state office communities to educate and engage with one another to identify and prioritize cross-sector collaborative solutions to improve behavioral health access in Maine for individuals and families seeking care and treatment. Eventual recommendations and ensuing next steps are captured in a report. The Summits typically attract 70 to 100 participants. The Foundation has hosted Summits in FY 2021 and FY 2024, comprising approximately 50% and 20% of the respective FY's expense budget.
    Expenses $6,870 · revenue $2,950
  • In FY 2022 and 2023, the Foundation's statewide Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Learning Collaboratives sought to assist Maine behavioral health agencies in establishing the CCBHC model to expand access to care in Maine and to leverage available resources to educate and strategically plan for CCBHC required competencies, training, and implementation in Maine, in partnership with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and key stakeholders. CCBHCs as ultimately implemented serve over 20,000 Mainers statewide with comprehensive, same day behavioral health services. Approximately 75 individuals across 6 organizations participated in each of the Learning Collaboratives. The Learning Collaborative comprised approximately 49% of the FY2021 expense budge and 58% of the FY2024 expense budget.
