Mission

To support people mental health through active listening and caring, confidential conversations. The vision was to use our trusted voices to build a world of connection and hope.

990 for the year ended June 30, 2026

Program accomplishments

  • Founded in 1970, HopeLine is a nationally accredited crisis intervention agency offering free and confidential services. Our 24/7 crisis line provided suicide prevention, emotional support, and mental health crisis intervention to individuals in need. Our Reassurance Program offered proactive outreach to older adults and homebound individuals who lacked social support. We made approximately 5,000 calls annually, provided connection, safety, and emotional support to participants who often describe these calls as lifelines. In addition to direct services, HopeLine provided community training in active listening and suicide prevention strengthening local support networks and promoted mental wellness. Through these programs, HopeLine fostered connection, reduced isolation, and promoted mental health across the communities we served. Volunteers contributed nearly 3,000 hours to the Crisis, Text, and Reassurance lines last year, totaling over $40,000 of in-kind services.
