Program accomplishments

  • IP offers support to innovative programs in diverse fields such as education, society, culture, entertainment and community development . IP partners with various organizations such as Radio Victoria to manage and administer innovative, quality programs that meet the needs of the entire local community through information, entertainment, and education. IP Scholarships and Academic Support started when a 13-year-old girl couldn't go to school because she couldn't afford notebooks. Scholarships Are Essential because Public schools, though free to attend, require students to pay for supplies, transportation, and food Families in rural El Salvador generally earn only a few hundred dollars per year Companies require a high school degree for entry-level positions. Scholarships allow children to break the generational cycle of poverty. College, vocational programs, and, ultimately, jobs are the path to a better life for students, families, and their communities. Children are inspired to study by seeing older peers reap the benefits of education.
    Expenses $56,439
  • IP social programs supporting subsistence farm families in rural El Salvador communities: Centro Cassie Family Recreation Center, Education Centers in five communities (Cacahuatal, Hacienda Vieja, El Aceituno, Alegria, Palo Grande), academic development support for students through university, support for children with disabilities, initial education from pregnancy through age four. The organization focuses and partners with different communities to find ways to overcome poverty by helping them obtain access to food, clean water, healthcare, education, programs for people with disabilities, training community leaders, family recreation and other services. Some of the projects are: Hacienda Vieja- Delegation in HV to work on education center. Conducted a computer training class for facilitators in all four education programs; painted poles, planted trees, taught classes in life skills, English, science, math and computers to children; Cacahuatal- Put a bathroom in the education center; La Puertona - Upgraded a barely functioning water system for the community, - Put an outdoor patio on education center to accommodate more children; Palo Grande- Built a building for the education center,- Conducted training for facilitators in all the education centers,- Inititated a home-visiting program for families with very young children,- Brought a delegation to teach math, English, science, etc... to children at the education center,- Initiated a study of barriers to rural education; Zacomil Dos-- Built a tank for a water system; CODECO -- monthly training for community leaders.
    Expenses $88,817
  • International Partners developed the SEE US Initiative in partnership with Weinfeld Education Group. International Partners cultivates leadership capacity and creates personal partnerships with grassroots leaders to bring education, health, and opportunity to people in economically impoverished communities. WEG's team provides educational advocacy expertise to SEE US.
    Expenses $2,800
