Program accomplishments

  • The PTO supported middle school uses health encore to encourage students to live a healthy lifestyle. To do that health class for half of each quarter are "active health" classes. • The PTO of Avon Grove Middle School is dedicated to helping students grow using team building activities. Students can learn and expand their communication skills, take leadership roles, engage in problem-solving, and collaboration with others. Each of our schools nine teams (three teams per each of the three grades) as well as our guidance department are given a team budget they can use throughout the school year to enhance the curriculum.

  • Teacher and staff appreciation meals provide an opportunity for students and parents to thank the educators and staff who work so hard to educate our children and make our schools a better place. During school conferences teachers must extent their days into the evenings to meet with parents and families and twice a school year we are able to provide the 155 teachers and administrators with a hot, nutritious meal to support them on the long days.
