Program accomplishments
- Support of doctoral dissertation research to generate knowledge on the teaching and learning of English as an additional language throughout the world. 16 new Doctoral Dissertation Grants supported doctoral candidates in the United States and elsewhere. - Dissemination Activities: Support for the development, production, and dissemination of mission-specific activities that seek to improve English language education worldwideExpenses $9,962
- The TIRF Kathleen M. Bailey Teacher-Research Award encourages, supports, and recognizes classroom-based research conducted by practicing English language teachers worldwide, fostering new knowledge and teacher-research skills.
