Mission
To encourage the dissemination of information within the fields of forensic science; to provide training and educational opportunities; to discuss problems and topics of mutual interest; and to stimulate research and the development of new procedures and techniques in forensic science. (367 members)
Program accomplishments
- Annual meeting for 300+ attendees - Provides training workshops and professional presentations involving research, new procedures and techniques, as well as case studies in all areas of forensic science.
- Scholarships awarded to forensic science graduate students in the Mid-Atlantic region; students are required to present a paper, based upon their research, at the annual conference. 3 awarded at $1,000 each.
