Mission
THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE THE ENVIRONMENT, PROGRAMS, AND STAFF TO ADVANCE THE RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCAST INDUSTRY IN VIRGINIA THROUGH EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, AND PROMOTION OF THE USE OF BROADCAST ADVERTISING.
Program accomplishments
- THE ORGANIZATION ORGANIZES AND ADMINISTERS EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS, SEMINARS, AND CONVENTIONS FOR ITS MEMBERS. ALSO, THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS INTERESTED IN RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING.
