Mission
To further ice technology and promote the growth and superior business practices for the packaged ice industry through the ongoing development and management of standards and value added services that enhance the image of the industry to the consumers and trade-partners.
Program accomplishments
- Convention; the convention brings together members on an annual basis to update them on current industry trends and developments.
- Newsletter; the newsletter (Ice World Journal) is distributed on a bi-monthly basis and contains articles relating to the ice industry.
- Board Meetings; board meetings are held quarterly for board members to work on industry business.
- Sanitation Programs; these expenses benefit all members because ice sanitation must be maintained at all times by all member firms.
