Mission

The Committee on Pipe and Tube Imports is a not-for-profit membership organization that serves as the advocate for the industry on matters of federal public policy impacting the domestic steel pipe, tube, and fittings industry. The association also holds regular business meetings throughout the year to inform members of association activities.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • The Committee organized various business meetings at which its members discussed current issues related to the promotion of free and fair trade practices, as well as the status of litigation involving anti-dumping, import relief, and other unfair trade matters related to carbon and stainless steel pipe and tube products.
  • Committee members participate in actions under Title VII of the Trade Act of 1930 to obtain relief against subsidized and dumped import competition, primarily from China. The Committee is used to coordinate these activities.
