- MCLEOD HEALTH WAS FORMED TO BE A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO MCLEOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER OF THE PEE DEE, INC. IT ALSO SUPPORTS OTHER ENTITIES IN THE SYSTEM SUCH AS MCLEOD MEDICAL CENTER - DILLON, MCLEOD LORIS SEACOAST HOSPITAL, MCLEOD HEALTH CHERAW, MCLEOD HEALTH CLARENDON, AND MCLEOD PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATES II. ON A DAILY BASIS, MCLEOD HEALTH COORDINATES THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY ACUTE CARE SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE EASTERN REGION OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND THE EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN REGION OF NORTH CAROLINA, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY.
