Mission
THE UNION PACIFIC HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS AN INDEPENDENT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORY OF THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM ITS BEGINNING IN 1862 TO THE OPERATION AS IT IS TODAY. THE OFFICIAL PUB THE STREAMLINER IS DISTRIBUTED TO APPROXIMATELY 1600 MEMBERS. THIS PUB IS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE PRESENTATION AND PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL INFORMATION.

- THE UNION PACIFIC HISTORICAL SOCIETY HAS ESTABLISHED AN ENDOWMENT FUND WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING AMERICAN HERITAGE CENTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING AND CATALOGING THE DOCUMENTS WITH THE PURPOSE OF THEM BEING AVAILABLE IN A DIGITAL FORMAT FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO USE AND ENJOY.
