Program accomplishments

  • The organization's accomplishments for 2024 include the following:We helped local shelters in Hew Haven County with/by taking in some of their small dogs in our rescue, then vetting them and getting them adopted. We have helped numerous owner surrender dogs when the owner could no longer care for their pets due to being elderly or losing their homes or cannot afford vet bills. We helped the girl scouts put together a little book on adopting shelter pets. We are a strong advocate for spay/neuter early programs. We have a relationship with a local vet for low cost spay/neuter. We have also formed a close relationship with pet food for our intakes.
