TO PROMOTE THE SAFE & EFFICIENT USE OF EXCAVATION SHORING PRACTICES USING THE CORE VALUES OF INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE & EXCAVATION, INNOVATION, TRUST & INTEGRITY, SAFETY, SPIRIT OF COOPERATION, & OPEN & HONEST COMMUNICATION.
Program accomplishments
- HELD THREE MEETINGS WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS(TWO IN-PERSON MEETINGS AND ONE BY TEAMS) TO DISCUSS THE FINANCIAL HEALTH OF THE ORGANIZATION, AS WELL AS THE CURRRENT AND FUTURE STRATEGIC DIRECTION.
- HELD AN ANNUAL CONVENTION AND CONFERENCE WITH APPROXIMATELY 215 ATTENDEES AND 15 EXHIBITING COMPANIES. THE EVENT INCLUDED A GOLF TOURNAMENT, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES WITH EXHIBITORS AND OTHER ATTENDEES AS WELL AS A GENERAL SESSION WITH A MOTIVATIONAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND EDUCATIONAL BREAKOUT SESSIONS.
- Held two Trench Safety Summit one in May in Virginia, the second in Washington in October. All day trench safety educational event that featured active trench field demonstrations including trench box, soil pits, and rigging and industry speakers.
