Mission
Adventurous Minds Produce Extraordinary Dreams Amped seeks to build generational wealth for families and entrepreneurs in marginalized communities by creating self-sufficiency, economic mobility and a more equitable society. Services focus on youth programming, technology workforce training, and small business incubation.
Program accomplishments
- Amped was founded in 2014 as a free music academy, but over time, it has grown into much more. Today, our work includes music education for young people, technology workforce training for adults, business acceleration for entrepreneurs, and community development through the spaces we develop. Our formal mission is to amplify and accelerate the economic and equity transformation of Black and Brown communities. Our vision is a community where people can build generational wealth, become more self-sufficient, achieve economic mobility, and live in a more equitable society. At the heart of it all, Amped is about people who have talent being able to get to opportunity. It is about people having access to the skills, capital, relationships, confidence, and physical spaces that other communities often take for granted. Amped served 299 participants in 2025.Expenses $2,598,127 · grants $47,457 · revenue $4,200
