Mission
OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE AND ASSIST IN DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WITH A FOCUS ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION OF ARCHITECTURAL RESOURCES. OUR PROJECTS ARE INTENDED TO BOTH ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF LIMITED INCOME FAMILIES AND TO STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITY BY REDUCING BLIGHT AND VACANCY
Program accomplishments
- IN 2025, RESTORATION HOUSING COMPLETED THE NINE-MONTH LONG REHABILITATION OF THE GROVE ON PATTERSON, WHICH IS A SIXTEEN BED RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY FOR PREGNANT AND POST PARTUM WOMEN AND THEIR NEWBORN INFANTS. WE ALSO STARTED CONSTRUCTION ON "TRINITY COMMONS", WHICH IS AN ADAPTIVE REUSE OF THE HISTORIC ANNEX OF TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH INTO FIFTEEN UNITS OF ELDERLY AFFORDABLE HOUSING. PROGRAM GROWTH HAS SUBSEQUENTLY INCREASED SUBSTANTIALLY AND THE ORGANIZATION MANAGED THAT GROWTH THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHILE ALSO BEGINNING PRE-DEVELOPMENT WORK FOR TWO HISTORIC HOME REHABS THAT ARE IN THE PIPELINE FOR 2026 AND 2027. WE CONTINUED TO OWN AND MANAGE OUR INVENTORY OF HISTORIC HOMES THAT OPERATE AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING, WHICH INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT.Expenses $232,667 · revenue $245,162
