Program accomplishments

  • The goal of this program is to open Charlotte's 1st full-service nonprofit grocery store with a goal of addressing access, affordability and education to those facing food insecurity. In 2024, we made a significant impact by serving over 500 children without stable housing and 100 families affected by Hurricane Helene through our Holiday Sweets for Kids event, which provided both holiday treats and healthy options. Additionally, we supported 10 cancer patients and survivors in purchasing nutritious food and began developing Cancer Support Health and Wellness Classes to empower over 500 participants through virtual and in-person sessions.
