990-EZ for the year ended September 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • In alignment with our mission to teach individuals of all backgrounds bicycle repair and maintenance, promote personal development and self-sufficiency, and encourage bicycle advocacy, St. Pete Bike Co-op continued to support the St. Petersburg community during the fiscal year from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. 1. Community Engagement and Education - The Co-op's Open Shop Nights welcomed approximately 1,220 visitors, volunteers, and members over the year, offering numerous opportunities for hands-on learning in bicycle repair and maintenance. The shop was open for 122 nights throughout the year, providing consistent access to resources and educational workshops. The Co-op also provided free bicycle valet parking services at Localtopia, an annual community event that welcomes over 40,000 attendees each year. 2. Membership - The Co-op maintained an average of 140 active members during FY 2025. 3. Free Bike Program - As part of our mission to promote sustainable transportation and self-sufficiency, we distributed approximately 50 free bicycles, each with a U-lock, helmet, and lights, to community members in need, in partnership with local homeless and addiction support organizations. This initiative supports individuals economically with low cost and environmentally friendly transportation. 4. Volunteer Support - The Co-op was supported by an average of 21 active volunteers each month. Volunteers played a crucial role in running the shop, mentoring visitors, and facilitating educational sessions. This strong volunteer base reflects the community's dedication to our mission. 5.
