FUND TEXAS CHOICE HELPS TEXANS EQUITABLY ACCESS REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE THROUGH SAFE, CONFIDENTIAL, AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT.
Program accomplishments
- DURING THIS TAX YEAR, FUND TEXAS CHOICE RECEIVED NEARLY 3,500 REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE. WE SPENT $1,383,914 ON DIRECT CLIENT EXPENSES TO PROVIDE 1,219 PEOPLE WITH FLIGHTS, LODGING, GAS, RIDESHARES, FOOD, AND CHILDCARE REIMBURSEMENTS SO THAT THEY COULD TRAVEL TO THEIR OUT-OF-STATE HEALTHCARE APPOINTMENTS. THE CLIENTS WE SERVED TRAVELED ALMOST 1.7 MILLION TOTAL CUMULATIVE MILES. WE PROVIDED 566 CLIENTS REFERRALS TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP MEET CLIENT DEMAND. 70% OF THE CLIENTS WE SERVED ARE ALREADY PARENTING. EVERY TEXAN WE ASSISTED WAS FORCED TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE.Expenses $2,755,285 · grants $1,385,393 · revenue $67,625
