Mission

To eliminate family violence in our community. We are committed to doing this through community outreach, batterer's intervention/prevention, and our victim services.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • A 27-week court ordered program for men who have abused a female partner. This program is facilitated by 2 instructors, a man and a woman, who have received extensive training in the field of intimate partner violence. The program seeks to change the habits, behaviors, and thinking errors that abusive men have learned throughout their lives.
  • We have a Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT) in conjunction with local law enforcement and the 46th Judicial District Attorney's Office. The DVHRT reviews high risk cases of family violence and works to craft individual plans that will keep victims safe.
  • We help victims prepare for a life free from violence through a number of free services. We offer advocacy, such as safety planning and court accompaniment, counseling through a licensed professional counselor and minimal financial assistance.
