Mission

Mentoring young women of Stark and Carroll counties to help them build their social and emotional assets, encouraging them to rise above their circumstances.

Program accomplishments

  • Summer Programming. For the summer, Hannahs House 119 offers our girls opportunities to continue to connect with their community in a positive way, grow their social and emotional skills, and shape their futures with positive experiences. Our summer program is an extension of what has already been happening in our girls club mentoring program throughout the school year, and we want to keep those relationships and positive role models in their lives throughout the summer. The almost 100 at risk girls that we serve in Stark and Carroll County will be given an opportunity to join for 8 weeks in the summer. Summer programming will include a Bible Study if they so choose, a service project at a local nursing home where they will get to paint nails, play games, and get to know people in their community while learning compassion and service. There will be an opportunity for outdoor nature hikes, swimming and educational field trips will be a part of their
