Mission
TO FOSTER GERMANIC ARTS AND HERITAGE AND REVIVE CULTURAL TRADITIONS, AND TO HOST AN AUTHENTIC, CHARMING, AND FAMILY FRIENDLY HOLIDAY EVENT IN MINNESOTA PATTERNED UPON EUROPEAN CHRISTMAS MARKETS THAT ARISE EACH YEAR BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
Program accomplishments
- ATTENDANCE AT THE 2025 MARKET WAS ESTIMATED BETWEEN 155,000 AND 165,000, WITH ECM SURPASSING ITS VENDOR GROWTH TARGET BY ADDING EIGHT NEW VENDORS FOR A TOTAL OF 83. IMPROVEMENTS ACROSS THE MARKET INCLUDED A SAFER BOARDWALK AT UNION DEPOT, A SUCCESSFUL GOLF CART SHUTTLE PARTNERSHIP WITH MOOV, AND A MUCH-IMPROVED WINE TRAIN AND UPGRADED CAROUSEL. NEW ATTRACTIONS LIKE THE HYPEDOME AND A THIRD WINE TENT IN THE SOUTH VILLAGE ENHANCED VISITOR EXPERIENCE AND RETENTION, WHILE THE NEW ECM STAGE CREATED A CENTRAL GATHERING SPACE. OPERATIONALLY, ALL DATED WINE MUGS SOLD OUT, DIGITAL PARKING PERFORMED WELL, SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT WAS STRONG, AND UPGRADES TO SANITATION SERVICES AND BEVERAGE MANAGEMENT LED TO MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE OVERALL.Expenses $779,493
