Mission
Networks of Change strengthens the skills of human rights advocates and civil society organizations to advance their capacity to achieve positive social change using traditional social and new media and outreach strategies to inform and engage communities around the world.
Program accomplishments
- Final year of a multi-year media development grant to engage inform and train journalists in Morocco on responsible reporting on violence against women. Included publication of comprehensive guide "Reporting on Violence Against Women: not your ordinary story assignment" in three languages: Arabic French and English. A corresponding training manual to the guide was also created. Content provided to journalists throughout the country and Middle East region thru dynamic online portals on related gender-based violence materials.Expenses $418,659
