Mission

Wildwood Farm Sanctuary and Preserve offers humane education to children, youth, and adults while advocating for improvements in the way farmed animals are viewed and treated. We also promote environmental stewardship through education and outreach that encourages people to understand the connections between food choices, agricultural practices, private land management strategies, and the preservation of remaining habitats for our native wildlife.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Animal Rescue: Wildwood Farm Sanctuary operated as an animal rescue organization working with law enforcement, animal control agencies, and other nonprofits to provide temporary or permanent sanctuary for farmed animals rescued from abuse and neglect.
    Expenses $120,580
  • Humane Education: Wildwood conducted tours of the sanctuary and preserve, offering education and insights into the sentience and importance of farmed animals, as well as the connections between native habitat preservation and our daily consumption choices. Through public and private events, newsletters, videos, and social media, Wildwood engaged in public outreach to encourage personal habits and industrial practices that protect animals and the planet.
  • Habitat Preservation: Wildwood maintained and nurtured the native habitats on the sanctuary property that include wetlands, oak savanna, and evergreen forest. Our stewardship of domestic animals demonstrates proper coexistence with native wildlife in ways that prevent wild/domestic animal conflicts.
