Mission
AKTIV AGAINST CANCER WORKS TO ENSURE THAT PHYSICAL ACTIVITY WILL BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF CANCER TREATMENT. OUR FOCUS IS THE PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AS A MEANS TO PREVENT CANCER.
Program accomplishments
- ACTIVE AGAINST CANCER IS WORKING TO GET PHSYICAL ACTIVITY AS PART OF CANCER TREATMENT. ESTABLISHING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CENTERS IN CANCER TREATMENT FACILITIES IS ESSENTIAL TO ACHIEVING THIS GOAL. OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE LOW THRESHOLD FITNESS AND ACTIVITY CENTERS WHERE CANCER PATIENTS CAN RECEIEVE THE EXPERT GUIDANCE OF PROFESSIONALS IN A SAFE. PATIENTS CAN RECEIEVE THE EXPERT GUIDANCE OF PROFESSIONALS IN A SAFE, SOCIAL AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. AKTIV AGAINST CANCER SUPPORTS VARIOUS RESEARCH PROJECTS TO STUDY THE PREVENTIVE EFFECT OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ON CANCER. AKTIV AGAINST CANCER SUPPORTS AN EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH OSLO UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, WHICH HELPS TRAIN ETHIOPIAN DOCTORS IN THE FIELD OF ONCOLOGY.Expenses $361,829 · grants $200,000 · revenue $504,993
