THE MODERN QUILT GUILD'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN QUILTING THROUGH ART, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY.

  • QUILTCON, OUR ANNUAL CONVENTION, WHICH CONNECTS QUILTING ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL AGES, WAS HELD IN PHOENIX AND HAD MORE THAN 180 LECTURES, WORKSHOPS, AND SOCIAL EVENTS AND ATTRACTED APPROXIMATELY 23,000 ATTENDEES FROM ALL 50 US STATES AND SEVERAL COUNTRIES. THE EVENT FEATURED MORE THAN 600 DISPLAYED QUILTS, INCLUDING A SPECIAL EXHIBIT OF QUILTS BY INDIGENOUS MAKERS, CURATED BY THE GREAT LAKES QUILT CENTER AT MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY.
