APEN Action is dedicated to the education, advocacy and mobilization of voters in the Asian Pacific Islander community toward environmental, social and economic justice for all.
Program accomplishments
- In 2024 APEN Action provided testimony, advocacy and coalitional leadership about the need to achieve an equitable phaseout of fossil fuels in California to meet climate goals. APEN Action Academy educated community members about just transition and Californias climate action efforts. APEN Actions Ballot Measure Committees worked in coalition to qualify a local ballot initiative in the city of Richmond.
