Mission
To operate a program to provide Philadelphia area youth with a quality training and competitive experience in boys' gymnastics. We added training for beginner girls in January, 2021. A secondary goal is to support the Temple University Men's Gymnastics Team, which was dropped from varsity status on June 30, 2014, but continues to train and compete intercollegiately.
Program accomplishments
- 300+ students participated in 2024-25. We sent 10 boys to the State & Regional Championships and our boys won numerous medals.Expenses $337,422 · grants $12,311 · revenue $305,544
- PBG moved to a new facility which provides a better training situation.Expenses $4,442
- We also allocated resources to the Save Temple University Men's Gymnastics fund in the Philadelphia Foundation. That endowment donated $58,702 to us to pay the Temple U Men's Gymnastics coaches for services, as Temple U terminated that varsity program on June 30, 2014. We continued to solicit grants from foundations and had some success in getting extra funds which allowed us to purchase new equipment to make our training area safer and more up-to-date.0
