Mission
The mission of the Montgomery County Chorale and Orchestra is to inspire, enrich, and advocate for musical diversity, artistic excellence, and creative collaboration within our community.
Program accomplishments
- The Montgomery County Chorale and Orchestra (MCCO) performed four public choral/orchestral concerts during the period. All of the organization's disbursements for the 2024/2025 season were in support of carrying out these performances. Our organization continued efforts on its New Music Fundraising project to enable the ongoing commissioning of new works of music in the future. MCCO has also continued the Music Scholar Education Program for high school students in the Montgomery County / Greater Philadelphia area. This program fosters the student's music education, giving them an opportunity to grow as young musicians, explore repertoire and performing opportunities they would not normally be exposed to, serve as leaders within the orchestra, and allow for collaboration with the artistic staff and current members of MCCO.Expenses $92,073 · grants $20,000
