Mission

Our sole mission is to battle childhood hunger. We do this in two ways. During the summer we provide free lunches and during the school year we provide weekend bags of food to children who might otherwise have nothing to eat.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • During the summer of 2023 our organization served a total of 100,237 free lunches to children who were at risk of going without lunch operating from Monday to Friday. This initiative aimed to address food insecurity among vulnerable children by ensuring they had access to nutritious meals during the summer months when they might not have access to school meal programs. The provision of these free lunches helped alleviate hunger and supported the overall well-being of these children during a critical time when they were at risk of food insecurity.
    Expenses $85,201
  • During the calendar year 2023 our organization distributed 40,000 weekend bags filled with nutritious food to children in 10 school districts facing food insecurity specifically targeting those at risk of going hungry over weekends when school meal programs are not available. These weekend bags play a crucial role in ensuring that vulnerable children have access to essential nutrition during the school year.
    Expenses $33,107
