THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY CONSERVES HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND FOSSILS, OPERATES A REGIONAL MUSEUM, EDUCATES THE PUBLIC, AND PRESERVES THE HISTORY OF THE AREA THROUGH PUBLISHING, CURATION, RESEARCH, AND DISPLAY.
