TO PROMOTE PUBLIC ENDORSEMENT OF INDEPENDENT BANKING AND TO SUPPORT AND SECURE AN ENVIROMENT THAT IS FAVORABLE TO INDEPENDENT OWNERSHIP AND LOCAL CONTROL OF IOWA BANKS THROUGH: EFFECTIVELY PROMOTING AND PROTECTING THE INTEREST OF MEMBER BANKS; PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY SERVICE AND PROJECTS TO ENHANCE MEMBER PROFITS; EFFECTIVE LOBBYING FOR FAVORABLE LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ENVIROMENTS; EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF INDEPENDENT BANKING TO THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING OF THE STATE AND ITS RESIDENTS.
