Program accomplishments

  • Detailed description of the exempt purpose achievements.A.Conservation Efforts We maintained our Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) grounds in accordance with our contractual obligations, including the upkeep of food plots to support local wildlife populations. Additionally, we preserved the ecological integrity of our pond by performing routine maintenance and restocking it with fish to promote a healthy aquatic habitat and optimal growth conditions.B. Educational Programs We hosted two Hunter Education courses, serving over 40 participants. Each course included a classroom session focused on safety, ethics, and wildlife conservation, followed by a hands-on field day where students received practical training in firearm handling and outdoor skills.C.Community Engagement We organized two public trap shooting events to foster community involvement and promote responsible recreation. Our members volunteered at the Reflections in the Park event, with proceeds supporting another local nonprofit. We also assisted with the cleanup of the Stations of the Cross for a local parish, conducted two Adopt-a-Highway roadside cleanups, and welcomed local Boy Scout troops to use our grounds for camping and outdoor education.D.Outdoor Recreation Initiatives We maintained our club grounds year-round to ensure safe and enjoyable access for members. The property supports a variety of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and hiking, which we actively encourage as part of our mission to promote outdoor recreation and well-being.
