The Organization will focus on the design, building and maintaining of a Holocaust Memorial Garden in front of Queens Borough Hall (in Queens, NY) as a place that honors survivors, commemorates the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and educates future generations about the consequences of hatred, indifference and antisemitism. The Memorial Garden aspires to be a civic space of reflection, learning and resolve. It will be owned by the City of New York, located on city-owned land and construction will be conducted by city-approved entities, with significant input provided by this Organization. Substantial funding for construction will be provided through City and state grants, with the remainder provided by this Organization through funds raised for this purpose.
