990-EZ for the year ended June 30, 2026

Program accomplishments

  • The West Yellowstone Senior Center provides a comprehensive Senior Lunch and Community Support Program designed to improve nutrition, health, independence, and social connection for older adults in our rural community. The program serves approximately 150 nutritious meals each week, providing seniors with both reliable access to healthy food and an important opportunity for social interaction. In addition to meals, the program connects seniors with services and opportunities that support their overall well-being. We coordinate senior field trips and social activities, provide access to vaccination clinics and visiting health buses from Bozeman, and help connect seniors with healthcare, transportation, social services, and other community resources. The Senior Center also maintains a medical and mobility equipment loan program, providing items such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, and shower equipment to seniors who need them at no cost. Our goal is to provide more than a meal. We strive to create a trusted community hub where seniors can stay healthy, active, connected, and independent, while ensuring they know where to turn when they need assistance.
    Expenses $23,578 · grants $600
  • The West Yellowstone Senior Center's Weekly Fresh Produce Program provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to seniors, individuals, and families in our community. The program began in August 2022 with grant funding and was created to help address food insecurity and the high cost of fresh, nutritious food in our rural community.Every Friday, the Senior Center distributes approximately 100 pounds of fresh produce at no cost to community members. By making fruits and vegetables readily available each week, the program helps individuals on fixed or limited incomes stretch their grocery budgets while maintaining access to healthy food.Since its beginning, the program has become a consistent and valued community resource. Our goal is to continue reducing barriers to nutritious food, supporting healthy eating, and ensuring that our seniors and other community members have dependable access to fresh produce regardless of their income.
    Expenses $11,789
  • The West Yellowstone Senior Center partners with Cornerstone, based in Rexburg, Idaho, to provide in-home health and support services to seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community. Cornerstone travels to West Yellowstone every other week, bringing much-needed services directly to residents who may otherwise have difficulty accessing assistance due to our rural location. The program currently serves approximately six households during each visit. Services are focused on helping individuals remain safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. This support can reduce barriers to care, provide assistance with daily needs, and help prevent seniors and individuals with disabilities from having to leave the community to access services. Our goal is to strengthen aging in place in West Yellowstone by bringing essential services to residents rather than requiring residents to travel long distances for care. This partnership helps some of our most vulnerable community members maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and connection to their community.
    Expenses $11,789
