Mission

TO HONOR OUR COWBOY WAY OF LIFE, AMERICAN INDIAN CULTURES AND COLLECTIVE MONTANA WESTERN HERITAGE.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE MONTANA COWBOY HALL OF FAME AND WESTERN HERITAGE CENTER INC. IS TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE WESTERN HERITAGE OF MONTANA FOR THE ENRICHMENT OF THE PUBLIC. THE NOTABLE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THOSE THAT HAVE COME BEFORE US ARE BEING PRESERVED AND PASSED FORWARD AS IMPORTANT EDUCATIONAL SYMBOLS FOR THE BENEFIT OF FUTURE GENERATIONS. TO DATE, THESE INDUCTEES HAVE BEEN HONORED THROUGH HALL OF FAME AWARDS. THE ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED ITS INAUGURAL EXHIBIT WITHIN THE CHARLES M. RUSSELL MUSEUM IN HISTORIC GREAT FALLS, MONTANA. WE EXPANDED THE GALLERY AT THE CHARLES M. RUSSELL MUSEUM AND HELD THE GRAND OPENING IN 2024. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO ENABLE THE PUBLIC TO LEARN ABOUT THE LIVES OF THOSE WHO HAVE IMPACTED MONTANA'S HERITAGE -- THOSE WHOSE STORIES MAY OTHERWISE GO UNNOTICED.
