PRESERVING LEGACIES OF MINNESOTA AVIATORS AND INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION.
Program accomplishments
- THE MINNESOTA AVIATION HALL OF FAME (MAHOF) PRESERVES THE STORIES OF EXEMPLARY INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO AVIATION AND AEROSPACE, WITH CONNECTIONS TO MINNESOTA. MAHOF INDUCTS 6-7 OF THESE INDIVIDUALS EVERY YEAR AT OUR YEARLY INDUCTION BANQUET. MINNESOTA AVIATION HISTORY IS PRESERVED WITH INFORMATION ON OUR WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, AND OUR PHYSICAL ARCHIVE. MAHOF ALSO RECOGNIZES INDIVIDUALS WITH A WRITING AND AN ART AWARD AT THE YEARLY INDUCTION BANQUET. MAHOF AWARDED FIVE SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS LOOKING TO STUDY AVIATION. MAHOF PARTNERS WITH SEVERAL OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND HISTORICAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT SIMILAR MISSIONS OF HISTORICAL PRESERVATION, AND EDUCATION.Expenses $12,799 · grants $7,500
