IPAA WORKS HARD TO EARN AND MAINTAIN SUPPORT FOR IOWA'S AVIATION INDUSTRY. WE PROVIDE INFORMATION TO AND REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF ALL THE PUBLIC-USE AIRPORTS IN IOWA.

- ADVOCACY:DAY ON THE HILL - IPAA HOSTS A LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION DURING THE STATE'S LEGISLATIVE SESSION. AIRPORTS ARE INVITED TO VISIT WITH THE STATE-ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES AND OFFICIALS WORKING WITH IOWA'S AVIATION INDUSTRY.AVIATION LEGISLATIVE ALERTS - WHILE THE STATE LEGISLATURE IS IN SESSION, IPAA STAYS ON TOP OF PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND PROVIDES E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS ON SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENTS IN LEGISLATION
- EDUCATION:IOWA AVIATION CONFERENCE - EACH SPRING IPPAA HOSTS A COMPREHENSIVE INDUSTRY CONFERENCE. THIS TWO DAY CONFERENCE INCLUDES NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SPEAKERS, EXHIBITORS, ELECTED OFFICIALS, AND STATE AND FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATORS. OVER TWO HUNDRED AVIATION REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND THE CONFERENCE TO NETWORK WITH OTHERS WITHIN IOWA'S AVIATION INDUSTRY, RECEIVE A CURRENT BRIEFING OF THE STATUS OF IOWA AVIATION AND LEARN NEW AND IMPROVED METHODS OF MANAGING AIRPORTS.
